Your Workers, Now Serverless: Temporal on Cloud Run

September 3rd, 2026 at 9am PT/12pm ET

Temporal Cloud already takes the operational weight of running Temporal off your plate. Now you can extend that same hands-off experience to your workers.

Traditionally, workers are where your team still owns the infrastructure: sizing fleets, tuning autoscaling, and keeping everything healthy as workloads grow. Serverless Workers for Cloud Run change that. By running your workers on Google Cloud Run's fully managed, serverless platform, you get:

  • Scale to zero, pay for what you run. Workers scale up on demand and back down to zero, so you're not paying for idle capacity between bursts of work.
  • No tuning treadmill. Cloud Run handles autoscaling, so you can skip the constant right-sizing of poll settings, concurrency limits, and deployments.
  • Infrastructure handled for you. Patching, health, and reliability at scale are managed by Google Cloud, freeing your team to focus on building workflows.

Join us for a webinar with Temporal's product team as we walk through how Serverless Workers on Cloud Run work, why we built them, and how they change the way you run Temporal in production.

Key takeaways:

  • How Serverless Workers on Cloud Run works and how to get started
  • How to move from self-managed worker fleets to fully managed, scale-to-zero infrastructure without rewriting your workflows
  • A live demo of deploying a Temporal worker to Cloud Run in minutes

Can't make the live session? Register anyway, and we'll send the recording to your inbox.
