Simon Calabrese is an AI and Data Solution Architect with deep experience in Big Data, AI, and Computer Vision. Driven by a lifelong fascination with data, he became increasingly engaged as AI and Computer Vision began to intersect more deeply with data creation and consumption. This evolving landscape led him to take a leading role in Grid Dynamics' AI transformation initiatives. The introduction of Temporal with AI marked a pivotal moment in his work—bridging long-standing gaps that previously required complex, custom-built solutions.

Alex is currently a Senior Developer Advocate at Temporal Technologies, and was previously a Senior Technical Writer at DigitalOcean, a Senior Technical Editor at AssemblyAI, and a digital archivist in a past life. He loves to write, teach, and make connections.
