Seminar

Temporal for Apache Airflow Engineers

June 5, 2024 at 9am CDT/10am EDT

If you're using Airflow for data engineering, you’ve likely run into situations where Airflow isn’t a perfect fit to solve your problem. Temporal’s Workflows-as-Code makes it a general-purpose solution for complex workflows.

This seminar will give you everything you need to know to effectively use Temporal alongside Airflow.

Key takeaways
In this session, we will cover:
  • How Airflow concepts translate to Temporal – including DAGs, Tasks, Operators, and Workers
  • How Temporal handles common Airflow challenges such as control flow, retries, versioning, and human-in-the-loop processes
  • The flexibility that Temporal provides through code-first workflows in languages like Go, Java, Python, Typescript, PHP, and .NET
