Demystifying Temporal: dive into Temporal SDKs
This talk will provide an in-depth exploration of Temporal's Software Development Kits (SDKs) to enhance our understanding and utilization of this powerful tool. We will explore how workflow processing works from the SDK perspective, get an architectural overview of Rust Core based SDKs, and showcase the Python SDK integration with the asyncio event loop. Finally we'll show some of the great developer experience features we've built on top of SDKs, such as stack trace capture and time travel debugging.

18:45-19:15

How Torq leverages Temporal for security automation use cases
This talk will cover features enabling security automation--including wait and scheduled trigger operations--as well as infrastructure features that allow Torq to delete or discard secrets and other short-lived data. You'll also hear about how the team at Torq was able to implement, test, and monitor Temporal.

19:15-19:45

Workflows in the real world: A bridge between humans and code
Discover how Daisy, a property management startup, utilizes Temporal's workflow orchestration platform to streamline and automate complex, long-running, human-involved business transactions that are at the core of residential real estate. We will demonstrate how we used Temporal to solve some of the challenges in human and machine interaction, as well as provide useful ideas on how to handle scheduling, asynchronous notifications, and more.

19:45-20:00

Q&A and event wrap-up
Speakers will answer audience questions before the event concludes for the evening.
